Whale of a Mountain: An early-winter composition, with sunlight and shadows creating a medley of patterns on Laws Ridge.

Early Fall Reflections: It’s early September in Vermont, the season when vivid green hues change into an array of yellow & orange tones

Granite Ledge: This is cracked & colored granite, taken near Perkins Cove on a bright Spring morning in 2023.

Pointer: Two adjoining cylindrical containers cast a long shadow- a “pointer.” Note the small patch of blue sky right above the tip of the pointer.

Solid & Liquid Ice: Here's water in three states: solid, liquid and gaseous- if you count the top, snow-covered section as a cloud! I call the image "Solid and Liquid Ice" because the pointed liquid form appears deeper and denser than the areas composed of ice.

Profusion: Weathered over years, a Bilco Door's metal surface reveals an unexpected tapestry of colors and shapes. Captured between 2020 and 2022, this pattern vanished after a wind-driven torrent in the spring of 2022, leaving Mr. Bilco clean but unremarkable.

Meteor Shower: This is the side of a weathered and stained train car. Bright red shapes in the foreground appear to be flying by the soft vertical forms in the background, hinting at a celestial phenomenon such as a meteor shower.

Feathery Waves: The interactions of the current, sky, wind, and light create an endless array of visual effects on the surface of the River. Here's an image, titled "Feathery Waves," that has a soft, wispy feel.

Silent Snow: A tranquil, rhythmic landscape taken in late-winter. The distant mountain with the hump comprises what the locals call “The Notch.”

Political Discussions: A fierce summer storm conjures a tumultuous array of clouds, evoking the intensity of a heated political debate. The stark contrasts and hostile shapes are best expressed in black & white, fittingly above the aptly named Swearing Hill.
